Pick a Country-Plan a Business

7th Grade Computer Students will choose a country they study in Social Studies then design a business they could start in that country.

After exploring statistical databases of world countries students will choose a country and create a business. They will be using the Internet for research, MS Office software to create a variety of documents to support their business. The unit will start with a discussion of ways adults in the business world use computer software to enhance productivity. Before students choose their countries there will also be a discussion of what needs to be in place in a society for business to be successful.
